Restaurants
With so many local veg-friendly restaurants, this is not a comprehensive
list. New restaurants open, some close, and some expand their vegetarian
and vegan options. Please let us know if you have any new informaiton or changes to our list by emailing us at
info@vegsf.com. We hope you'll support veg-friendly restaurants and
encourage other establishments to offer more vegan choices.

Enjoy Cafe Gratitude's delicious raw vegan food in its
warm,
peaceful, comfortable setting. They've got terrific, healthy smoothies,
desserts, entrees and specials. If you're not familiar with raw foods,
be aware that the items typically don't taste like the cooked versions
they're named after. (For instance, their pizza bears no resemblance to anything you'd get at a pizzeria, but it's delicious in a totally
different way.) Just let yourself be surprised. And enjoy ordering items with names like "I Am Luscious!" and "I Am Plenty Great!" And save room for dessert. All of them are amazing! The smoothies and desserts are especially worth their hefty pricetag.

San Rafael
Cafe GratitudeVegan/Organic/Raw
10am-10pm daily
Enjoy Cafe Gratitude's delicious raw vegan food at its
newest life-affirming setting!
